የመጽሐፉ ርእስ በቀጥታ እንዳሳየው፣ የመጽሐፉ ማገርና መዋቅር የተሠራው ፕሮቴስታንታውያን በኢትዮጵያ ሀገረ መንግሥት የፖለቲካ ውቅር ውስጥ የነበራቸውን ሚና የሚዳስስ ነው። ‹ፕሮቴስታንታውያን› የሚለው ቃል በራሱ በጣም አሻሚ ነው። በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ደግሞ የበለጠ የተዘበራረቀ ትርጓሜ ያለው ነው።
